Madras Medical Mission is an organization inspired by the missionary zeal of Bishop Zachariah Mar Dionysius, Metropolitan of the Madras Diocese of the Orthodox Church of India. Strengthened by the devotion and commitment of the members of this Community at Chennai (erstwhile Madras city of TamilNadu ) who promoted the registered charitable society in 1982, it strives to participate in the healing ministry by seeking to foster an environment of caring, compassion and love that enables it to respond to patient needs in enviable ways.

From modest beginnings two decades ago, the synergy of proficient practitioners, prudential management and providential guidance has metamorphosed this ISO 9001:2000 certified Madras Medical Mission into an organization of excellence that promotes some of the finest super-speciality tertiary care medical institutions in India , with superlative infrastructure, leading edge technology and accomplished professionals.

** Infrastructure **
Madras Medical Mission(MMM), an International Health Care Provider, is a 207 bed Quaternary care centre of excellence providing healthcare services in the areas of Adult/Paediatric Cardiac care, Reproductive Medicine, Liver & Digestive diseases and Multi-Organ transplantation. The MMM hospital complex in Chennai has superlative infrastructure, leading edge technology, most modern and state-of-the-art facilities, supported by a team of experienced specialists, nurses and paramedical staff, all under one roof.

The hospital at chennai has more than 207 beds, 5 operation theatres for Institute of Cardio Vascular disease, 2 state-of-the-art cineless Cath Labs besides a host of other facilities. The Coronary Care Unit (CCU) is 16-bedded and fully equipped to deal with all cardio vascular emergencies.

The Institute of Liver and Digestive diseases also has a very active Multi-Organ Transplant program, one of a kind in India , performing kidney, liver, pancreas and small bowel transplantation.

The hospital has a total of 74 Critical Care beds to provide intensive care to patients after surgery or angioplasty, emergency admissions or other patients needing highly specialized management. The hospital is backed by the most advanced laboratories performing complete range of investigative tests in the field of Nuclear Medicine, Radiology, Bio-chemistry , Haematology, Transfusion Medicine and Microbiology.
